Tikiz Launches Centralized Call Center to Support Franchisees

BOCA RATON, Fla. – January 26th, 2016 – Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream has launched a centralized call center to help franchise partners identify, book and manage events, among other benefits.

With this new development, the Tikiz corporate team will now provide centralized technological and account management services to handle a majority of the back-end office support. This allows our franchise partners to primarily focus on serving their communities and building relationships with all of the great organizations and customers they work with.

“No other mobile shaved ice and ice cream concepts or mobile food trucks offer this significant value to its franchise owners,” Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream CEO and founder Brian Tollefson said. “Our centralized call center doesn’t just field calls and schedule events, the call center team also proactively seeks opportunities for our franchise partners within their territories. Some of our franchise partners work full-time Monday through Friday and operate their Tikiz truck on the nights and weekends, so this added support is a huge benefit.”

The fast-growing mobile franchise began testing its call center in January and has already seen unprecedented success.

“Our test of the call center was wildly successful,” Tollefson added. “In just the first week, our lead call center team member, Joseph Grant, booked eight very good events for our franchise partners that they likely wouldn’t have retained otherwise. This is truly a game changer for our franchise partners and our business model as a whole.”

Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream currently has more than 20 trucks on the road and another 30-plus in development. The franchise expects to sell at least 100 territories by the end of the year.

Prospective franchise partners interested in growing Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream should sign on before the company’s multi-unit franchise deal expires this April. Tikiz currently offers a $15,000 discount to franchise partners who purchase three territories; essentially waiving the franchise fee on the third territory. The deal will expire in a few weeks when the company refiles its yearly Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
